The Kitimat Understanding the Enviroment (KUTE) Society will have our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, November 18th, 2024, starting at 6pm in the Activity Room at the Riverlodge Recreation Centre.
We are inviting all individuals who are interested in learning more about our operations & supporting our mandates. We are offering the opportunity to become more involved with KUTE as a society member, director, or as event volunteers. Snacks provided - hope to see you there!
This past weekend we had approximately 70 community volunteers come out to help clean up our community at the 2024 Kitimat River Clean Up with participants as young as a year & a half old!
Thank you to our all of our sponsors: our primary sponsor LNG Canada, as well as the District of Kitimat, & e360s for ensuring that we had everything we needed to host this event. We would also like to thank the Kitimat Humane Society for preparing lunch for all of our event volunteers.

Heads up - we are closed on Monday, Sept 2nd, for Labour day. We will reopen on Tuesday at 10 am!
The Kitimat River Clean-Up is back this fall on Saturday, September 14th, sponsored by LNG Canada!
To speed things up on the day of the event, we encourage all participants to register ahead of time.

Event Registration for Participants & Display Booths closes on Sept 12th. While we can accept walk-on participants, registration allows us to assign clean-up areas & helps us prepare any necessary accommodations.
A reminder that we are not open on Monday, August 5th, 2024 for BC Day & we will reopen on Tuesday the 6th.

As a not-for-profit organization, this meeting is open to the public & will be held at 6PM at the Kitimat CDC (1515 Kingfisher Ave, Kitimat BC, V8C 1S5). Additional information & general member registration form will be shared in a follow-up post.
